Hi, with the ongoing judder from the lock up clutch on my w203 I wanted to know if there was Glycol in the oil. Went online and £30 later a sample bottle syringe and tubing was sent to me . I took a sample, sent it off and a couple of days later got a report and an advice sheet on interpreting it. This I didn't read properly, just looking for Glycol and phoned up to ask, left a message and within 10 minutes someone phoned back and explained what I should have read in the first place( sodium level) and gave me good advice on top. Top service. Saved a lot of guess work and worth considering if your buying a car and in doubt. Oil lab .co.uk I would recommend to anyone.
Ps. No glycol, radiator ok, change oil and filter.

I had a summer job working in such a lab. The local bus and HGV depots use them plus a number of north sea oil rigs for their various engines. Well worth the expense for fleet and I guess individuals on occasion.

There's a simpler test for water in oil (ie,water with the Glycol). Flick a drop onto a very hot surface (eg cooker hot plate) and if it spits and crackles - there's water present.
