Someone I know is a Vauxhall employee and his uncle works at Shell - he told me that it's in fact Shell Helix. I have nothing in writing from either Shell or Vauxhall but it's good enough for me.
Vauxhall use it for their turbocharged engines - including Astra and Vectra VXR so it must be fairly good stuff.

There are only about 3 companies making fully synth oil so whatever name is on the bottle it's going to be good stuff!
