Does any one know what the connectors are called and where I can get them from?
Someone has completed destroyed the connector connected to the wiring look.

I need the connector below and if I can get the other side of it, that'll be even better.
New would be nice, but 2nd hand/used is good for me as long as it's in good condition.

Well we get them from our local MB dealer, but you will also need a pin extractor kit to remove the pig tails which is an automotive tool and part of a kit .
MB also sells the pins for you to solder onto the wire pig tails as well

Tuercas viejas.

Thanks Tuercas. I've got the Alibaba version of the terminal remover tool.
Good to know the MB dealer has them or can get hold of them.
Do you know of an online parts catalogue for our cars? or at least the OM642 engine?

I will get you the part numbers.
I think I/We have them in stock, and I will go rummaging for them up in the parts bins where we fix harnesses .
Its photo day today for our shop web site update, and mug shot of our "motley crew".
so I might be a bit busy to post immediately.
Cheers T/V

Tuercas,
thanks for your help. I called a couple of breakers (2nd hand parts dealers), one wanted 42GBP or (60 USD) !!!
Then I tried the local MB dealer, emailed them a couple of photos, 9.42GBP (15USD)

Moral of the story? MB are not always that expensive.

Well if you can handle a couple of cuts with pigtails, I can provide you with them for about a $5,00 a pop plus mail per USPS/UK PO.
Let me know

I should've got it from you T/V, would've been easier soldering the pigtails than messing with the crimp pins.
I've ordered and paid for new connectors from MB.
