No - but there enough proven examples and experts to be able to validate your autographs. This is a wheel of a racing car. Oddly there's a lot of them out there and how would you validate it as genuine.

And no one's saying he's a bad person - just that he's been dippy to lose the proof that he had and as such it is worthless - as a Senna piece of memorabilia anyway.

I guess thats why he's not asking real money for it , he wants to swap some corals for it ... he'd probably take very little for it ...

If you were really hot on it, you could probably track down via the tyre manufacturer or Ferrari , the compound , serial number or whatever and marry it up with what was being used at the time ...

Just thought it might be interesting ..

Don't know what you expected Howard - but if there are flaws in something then people will spot them- especially if you put it into the domain where knowledge is likely to exist. If you thought it was all so genuine then why didn't you just take it off his hands?

I'm hardly going to contact the guy and tell him to amend his spelling before i post it on another forum ....

I personally don't want a coffee table made out of a tyre , as i don't follow F1 or any motorsport .... i just like cars ...

I'm not earning anything out of it , i just saw a member ( who obviously isn't into cars ) has posted it in the for sale thread ...

Thought someone here might like it if it could be bought cheaply enough , there's plenty of people with 'dens' and 'bars' in the garden who might like it in there ...

I wasn't having a pop about it , i'm as guilty of spelling mistakes as the next man , and while i do jump on badly spelled adverts that advertise nonsense on Ebay ( poor grammar and text speak is my pet hate ) , i thought this would be of interest to the members on here ...

He accepts that his spelling isn't great which is why there is the 'embarrassed' smiley on his OP .... and if you don't know about cars or F1 , it would be quite understandable to spell foreign drivers names wrongly ....

Anyway , lets put this behind us, hopefully Jay will get a bargain .

The weird thing is I never had noticed aDvantgarde before, I guess I was just blind to my typo. Thank you for pointing it out. I'll amend it as it will annoy me now I see it.
