Can anyone recommend some decent PC speakers for <£100

I have some yamaha's, they are nice, but dont have any weight in the bass section...

so, what have you got/heard? <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I've got a Cambridge Soundworks system, good rich bass (controllable) with 4&quot; square cubes for the mid and high end.
I think I paid about £140 for them...

Any idea on the model number??

Thanks <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Anyone ever heard of the 'Mission MM1 NXT' speakers

they are on offer, down from £180 to £50, may get those... <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I have heard a couple of different speaker/sub woofer sets.

Something to consider is whether you are getting a sub box, designed to go under your desk, or desktop mounted sub.

I have had experience &quot;Altec Lansing&quot; speakers, with an under desk sub. This almoust produced too much bass which just resonated everything!

I now have Harmon/Kardon HK695's, which has a desktop centre sub. The sound is good, and I think you can get these cheap now.
The &quot;champagne&quot; style speakers are quite funky.
