I ran a routine scan today on our 2008 W211 320CDi using my iCarsoft MB 2.0 and found one error code :

P2668 check component current g3/2 (o2 sensor and upstream of TWC stored) thrust fault valve is above limit.

I haven't noticed any issue with performance or increased fuel consumption so I cleared the fault and drove for about 20 minutes getting up to full temperature and at varying speed upto 60mph and ran the scan again and it is no longer showing.

Quite happy to have it changed but curious as to why it cleared and didn't recur?

If anyone has the part number I would be grateful and will order from MB (I assume it is best to use OE rather than aftermarket?)

TIA

This code reappeared yesterday along with limited performance mode whilst driving, this went back to normal after restarting the engine and has not returned as yet.

I no longer have access to the EPC as it will not run on my Chromebook, would anyone with access to EPC kindly be able to look up the part number for this sensor and it's location?

Many thanks.

Would anyone be able to help with this? 😁👍

And I believe there is only one sensor on mine. The location being on exhaust roughly under the drivers seat.

Yep just one sensor , be careful with the sensor , there is another Bosch one that has a slightly shorter cable that won’t fit (but same or similar part number )
I have tried to get EPC to run on the Chromebook so I could check the part number but no joy.🙄

Might be this one
When I check on the site it says that the part doesn't fit but thank you for looking and posting 👍

I just checked an old thread I did on the “other side” , the one posted above by Boxer ending in 016 is what came off my car .(the short cable one I mentioned ends in 14, with a 350mm cable , which doesn’t fit)

Thanks. I need to get the MB part number to be sure.

I will see if EPC will run on my old laptop but it was flakey on there 😁
