Finally got round to booking the CE into the local paint shop for touch ups to some small rust scabs and the odd scrape.

Chap mentioned that they would have to use water based paint which makes sense however will there any issue with it bonding to the existing old skool stuff from 1990?

It will be touch ups as to spray would involve so much blending that I might as well do the whole car which I'm not really prepared to do at the moment. (And before anyone suggests it, no doubt its a piece of cake to do yourself, but my last attempt at driveway bodywork was a disaster so no I won't be.) :)

TIA

Mine needs sorting. Fortunately for me, all of the cars defects are on the lower half of the car, they are all below the rub strips.. so hoping that I shall have it all painted.. if the match isnt 100% with the top half it wont really bother me. :)

Ade. The paint will bond alright.
