Parking sensors

Hi can anyone help ?? I have a e320 cdi sport on an 06 plate and my parking sensors are giving me a little bit of a problem
I'm getting 2 red lights by the windscreen then they turn off without me touching anything when I put the car in gear
I try to turn them back on and they just keep turning off
can anyone please advise

One or more sensors have failed. STAR Diagnosis can pinpoint which sensors need replacing.

Thank you for your reply I will get it plugged in and hopefully I can get it sorted fingers crossed then I my see if I can get a reversing camera sorted if its not to much trouble just to please the wife cheers

I have e320 sport estate, had same prob, got new sensor from ebay for twenty quid, next day delivery. Five minutes under car unplugging old sensors to try new one, second sensor I tried was the faulty one, seconds to remove old sensor and replace, job done.

Out of interest were the ones you bought from ebay used or original or copy parts or ??? you never know when you may need the information, Thanks
