Hi Guys,

I'm toying with the idea of Part ex'ing the Mrs's 2006 C200k coupe @ 27,891 miles for a 2006 CLK 320 CDI SPORT @ 86k.

They are offering me 7k for a previous 1 lady owner car with low miles which i think is a decent offer?

I was hoping for around 7.5k if im being honest. The only difference is the CLK has COMMAND and passenger memory seat if i compare it interior spec wise to the c200k.

So £7000 in part ex leaves me to pay an extra £3,500 on top for the CLK.

Is it really worth it?

Spec: Mercedes CLK 320 CDI Sport Auto £10,500

Iridium silver metallic, semi aniline red leather interior, command satellite navigation, phone prep with bluetooth module, 18" AMG alloys, AMG bodystyling, electric heated memory seats, multi contour seats, bi xenon headlights, Harmon Kardon sound system with 6 disc CD changer, electric folding door mirrors, dual zone climate control, cruise control, multi function steering wheel, 2 owners, full Mercedes Benz/specialist service history, 86,000 miles

Would have liked Parktronic as letting the Mrs loose in it scares the S%^t out of me. The c200k has it and has done the job well. Its become a vital driving aid for her i think.

Just use the excuse and get a CLK55

Seems like a good trade to me

Thanks saw them today whilst trawling the net. i'd prefer looking for 06/07 years.

I would hold out for a car with parktronic, will be sought after come resale time and as the car has a high mileage a high spec would be in your favour.

Drop the foot on the floor and you forget about the year ....

I think he wants something cheaper to fuel, not dearer. I'd steer him in the CLK270 direction. It's a more reliable car and more frugal still than a V6 CLK
