Passenger Mirror Glass

Hi,

Is this supposed to be auto dimming? My drivers one does and rear view mirror, but not the passenger one which I find odd.

E350 CDI Coupe - 2010?

Any ideas?

No, only drivers and interior.

Safety, you still need to see behind you, not often one is dazzled via the N/S mirror.

The auto dimming is a great feature but does make it a touch harder to see things. So it would make sense to leave the passenger side as normal.

Correct, it can be difficult spotting a cyclist on my right at night when the wing mirror is dimmed.

You can have an autodimming passenger side mirror, but ask for a quote on the dimming mirror glass, you will be shocked.

Around £250 for a W211 if I remember correctly.

Yeah, £292 for an ML one currently.

Wow that is very expensive just for the glass.... I think I will leave it as is considering its only offensive to me a little bit.
