Just got Mercedes CLK200, ther are controls on the steering wheel and dash board showing phone controls.
No phone has ever been fitted to the car, is it possible to have aphone fitted using these controls.
Thanks for the help:)

Sure, is it a W208 or W209, what model year? You would first need to figure out if it has a phone kit, most likely not as you have not seen anything else than the buttons you mention.

You would then need to install a phone kit, which means some work if your car is not wired for a phone kit.

A good source for parts here:

You have to look at the D2B or MOST kit depending on your car.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
The model is CLK2OOK Avantgarde Auto, its a 2006 model.
I cant find the other numbers you mentioned
thanks

A 2006 CLK is a W209 (Mercedes model number), this is equipped with MOST. If not prewired for a phone, it would be quite a lot of work to install. Usually there is a connector in the centre console if prewired.

Drop the guys at COMAND and email with your VIN and they will be able to answer all your questions.

As Midland45 points out if your car is pre-wired there will be a small triangular cap covering the cradle connector in the centre arm rest (will be near the hinge end)

Hi, I havn't got the connection in the centre consul, sounds like its quite a complicated joband exspensive.
Thanks for all the advise.
