Got an HP 1350 all in one and I can't seem to get it to print 5x7 photos without putting an irregular sized border on everything, regardless of telling it to print full size - any help appreciated ?

Might be software related? What package are you trying to print from?

Have tried HP photo and imaging gallery, MS powerpoint and a Kodak freeware so far, all the same result :(

I am almost certain I should be able to print 5x7 on the HP PSC 1350.

Does the printer do borderless printing? Do you have this option selected? Do you have the right paper size selected? Are you using 'fit to page' or equivalent, in case your image has a funny dpi setting?

Does the printer do borderless printing? Yes but the defaults seem to be 6 x 4

Do you have this option selected? No because I am trying to print 5 x 7

Do you have the right paper size selected? I am using a custom paper size of 5 x 7 which it seems happy to let me do.

Are you using 'fit to page' or equivalent, in case your image has a funny dpi setting? Yes to the Custom fit of 5 x 7 but it comes out being about about 4.25 x 6.25 ?

I think I may just have to print out as big as I can get and buy a guillotine :(

What does the manual say?

The HP printer I had would only do borderless prints on special 6x4 paper (with tear-off tabs).

Probably less hassle to take the card to Boots and let them print the size you want. Had really good results and cheap too.

open your picture with one of the Adobe programs and try to print from there. You get the option to preview the photo before printing.
