Hi new member just picked up my 2000 x reg CLK 320 rag topYesterday. 57000 miles drive nice . The car came in about £600 under my budget of 7K. Can not find any bill for atf being done or spark plugs so think that would be the first thing i should get done.

Here is my standard service items check list for new car:

Engine oil and filter

Air filter
Fuel filter
Cabin filter

Coolant
Brake fluid
ATF (or gear oil for manual)

Spark plugs (for petrol)
Particulate filter (for diesels so equipped)

I bet you bought your clk from Northover cars?(thats where i bought my previuos clk320cab).Definately get the plugs & atf/filter done by a good independant mb specialist(will save you £££)

Thanks for the advise, Have booked it in for next week for atf and plugs and a once over.
The oil and filter was changed only 2000 miles back, have the bill for that plus looks clean. No i brought it from a dealer in Tonbridge Kent i am only the 2nd owner. I only expect to do about 2500 miles a year in it.

Barking up the wrong tree then(the garage i mentioned have just sold a 2000 plate clk320 cab & when you said you had bought a simular car in Kent i thought that was the one)good luck with the car,mine served me well & i enjoyed a good summer with it last year
