MY2013 W204 SPORT PLUS
Cut a long story short, i swopped my 08 plate W204 for a new w204 sport plus on monday evening.

I planned this weekend to detail it. It has taken over 12 hours to do.

Unfortunately, my camera battery needed charging. So there is no before or during shots. Not that a 180 mile old car can get mucky ;)

The dealer has prepped the car very well, with no swirl marks or delivery wax on the vehicle.

What did i do?

Wash -

2BM with Dodo juice sour power
Iron X

Prep -

Gtechniq P1 Polish X1 Coat

Paint Protection -

Dodo Juice Diamond White wax X2 Coats

Wheels -

AG SRP X2 Coats
Dodo juice creme egg wax X1 Coat
Poorboys wheel sealant X2 Coats

Tyres dressed with AG Rubber Cleaner.

Glass polished with X2 coats of AG glass polish.

Comments welcome as always.. :)

The Results....

V.nice.

Did you intend to include the photo displaying the reg plate ?

Not a fan of those wheels usually but have to say they look great on your car

Beautiful looking car :)

Thanks... i didn't like them... then saw a saloon pull up outside the showroom... 4 days later i drove one out :)

I picked my white sport plus on the first of September! Absolutely love it. I drove mine straight from the garage into my shed to remove the dealership polish/wax and protect it with my own. I used GTechniq C1 and C1.5 silo seal. Have to say I'm really impressed with the results. Yours looks amazing, wish you the best with it

looks stunning, you debadged it too :)

Very nice job. I collect my white sport plus estate at the end of the month, and it will also get an immediate detail using mostly Gtechniq stuff.

Thinking of getting some of the new Exo to try out on the new one, anyone tried it yet?

Some boys at the local handwash charge £5 and it takes about 5 mins

You then have 11 hours and 55 mins to do what ever you want over the weekend

Lovely car collect mine on Wednesday and really not a fan of the wheels but look great on white. I am well impressed with you boys getting your vehicles gleaming puts me to shame with the £10 job I will get in the summer.

I'd hold off on the Exo, version 2 is in production. So might want to keep an eye out on their website.

Yeah, but I take pride in my car and how it looks. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it keeps me happy. I've seen damage from £5 washes.

Congrats, I have the same.

A word of advice though, watch those rims for defects, got mine under warranty review already, only done 3.5k.

Aside from that, I caught sight of my wheels while driving past large plate glass windows at the weekend, on a bright day with the sun high in the sky, and OMG those wheels look awesome on the move.

I am still undecided on the wheels, not a big fan of the style, but like the black. My better half wants it to stay as is but I already have a set of black BBS CH 19" to bolt on from my current C Sport.

I did similar when I collected my Polar white car.

Thankfully it didn't need claying (some new cars do!) so I washed, polished and then used Dodo wax (hard wax) on the whole body and wheels. I've since applied 3 more layers (car is 1 month old) and also now use the new Meguiars Carnuba wax shampoo.

Still beading a treat and looking great when not covered in salt and grime as she currently is sat in my garage... will be clean and waxed again when the snow clears!

Good think about polar white is that you will never see the swirls or light scratches :)
