Polar White - W204 Sport plus

Still beading a treat and looking great when not covered in salt and grime as she currently is sat in my garage... will be clean and waxed again when the snow clears!

Good think about polar white is that you will never see the swirls or light scratches :)

You might eventually do when you're under street lamps/bright sun but white does hide them pretty well.

Also, I'd give it a spray down with a hose or pressure washer to get rid of the majority of the salt. Last thing you want is to have that baked on to the car, in the arches etc sad as it sounds I always rinse my E down in between washes when I've taken it out and it has accumulated dirt/grime/salt from the drive.

Miners now 6 months old and I can see faint marks under the light... Will get sorted over the Easter weekend! Full correction and scratch resistant coating followed by some swissvax to make it gleam....

Sounds good, what hydrophobic coating are you going for?

Either gtechniq C1 or wolf hard body not decided yet I have the use of both

Hard body is easier to apply but the C1 will live a lot longer. Looks good & make sure you get your pictures up of your correction detail on it. What compound/polish/pad combo you going with?

Considering a clean this afternoon, but not sure I 1) have enough layers to wear!!! and 2) want a frozen icy driveway

All Started on Friday afternoon, a week in the lake district and she looked like this:

I then washed the car as follows:

- APC applied to all door shuts, under bonnet & around the arches.
- Car was snow foamed and agitated with brushes.
- Car was rinsed with PW.
- Car was washed using Dodo Juice Sour Power shampoo (2BM)
- Car was rinsed again and Iron x was applied to the car.
- Car was rinsed again.
- Car was clayed using Bit hammer clay to leave a contaminant free surface.

Snowfoam after 10 mins..

i then did a one stage enhancement on the car with Megs 101 & on a orange polishing pad. All door shuts & under bonnet were polished with prep'd with Swissvax fluid cleaner before a coat of Swissvax Glacier.

All external Paint surfaces were wiped down with IPA.

Wolf's Hardbody was applied to the whole car. Once cured this was removed and left for 12 hours.

In the meantime i cleaned and protected all the wheels on the car. All wheels were clayed and polished using GTechiq P1 and wiped down with IPA before applying two coats of Wolf's Rim Shield. Tyres were dressed with AG Rubber cleaner.

Arches were protected with AG Plastic Conditioner.

Friday morning Another coat of hard body was applied. This was removed once cured.

This was then topped off with two coats of Swissvax Glacier 24hrs apart.

Whilst i was waiting in-between coats of wax i hoovered, cleaned and dressed the interior using AG Vinyl and rubber care. All leather was treated to AG Leather balm.

A big thank you to Rob_vrs & Mattytemp who gave me some company throughout the 3 days i have been working on it. Mattytemp even joined me for the after photos

Comments welcome as always….

Looks great, how long did it take you?

I love my white car but it doesn't show the hard work as good as my old solid black Audi S3 did... but then again it doesn't show the swirls like that did either!

I am just waiting for the cold to clear and my flu to clear before removing some tar spots and doing a full clean.

About 3 and a half days... But I'm dedicated and you have to wait for products to bond.

Wasn't much tar on my car so, I guess I'm rather lucky

very nice, how did you find the dodo wax to apply and remove?

Yeah the dodo juice is a nice easy wax to work with although I prefer the swissvax I have just used. See recent posts.

Really easy and it's great on plastics and glass too.
