Hi

Apart from finding an entire anti-roll bar kit from Eibach at £299, is anyone aware of any other sources for polyurethane ARB bushes for the w202.

I have a 1995 C220D with worn front ARB bushes and have no desire to replace with the cra**y M-B rubber replacements unless absolutely necessary.

Have tried the normal sources (SuperFlex, PowerFlex & Whiteline) but to no avail.

Many thanks in advance,

Julian

Thank you, I'll give 'em a go.

Being new to M-B ownership and searching through the Forum prior to posting I was a little concerned to have come across this thread http://mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=24850&highlight=stability

My car is a little wayward to say the least and crossing the Severn in blustery weather can be an invigorating experience

Not really what I expected from a Benz...investigated when up on the ramps and noticed that the ARB bushes appear to be worn hence the request for a source of Poly replacements. Thought I'd start by fixing the obvious...

Running on new Michelin rubber at the correct pressure - no signs of uneven wear. Will check rear bushes when I get a moment and then I guess it's springs & dampers.

The car has covered 130K...

Cheers

Julian

I had my ARB bushes replaced at about 104K. Stock MB ones felt 10x better than the old ones - let us know what you find in terms of uprated items.

dont forget to check/change the steering damper - made a huge difference to the steering on my C220D

Steering damper is quite a common failure on the W202 too. Good point grasmere.
