C 63 AMG,
Looking to replace rear pads in the next 5k miles and have heard good things about these R4S - performance, low dust etc..........just wondered if anyone had tried them on a C 63?

I have R4S front pads on my car and they are great!
Last for loooong time and very quiet.
Very rotor friendly.

Next time I have to replace pads will be another set of R4S.:thumb:

Unfortunately no-one in Europe sells them ☹

Thanks for the info. There is actually a .co.uk website for them :thumb:

Do you have any experience of them or are you thinking of trying them out?
- porterfieldbrakes.co.uk lists the UK distributors

I've just bought some TRW low dust pads for the front of my E63 and will need some rear pads soon.
I can't find low dust rears for the E63 so I'll check what is available with this pad. Thanks for the link:thumb:

These R4s pads are the best aftermarket pads I know.
Light dust, doesn't wear the rotors at all.
Never had any squealing from my brakes.

What is wrong with their website, can't access???

I'm unable to access the site as well. Needs JavaScript enabled in browser. No thanks.

I copied their contact email address, just sent them an email asking for price on front pads.
Let's hope these are serious blokes?

I got a quote for R4-S costing £219 incl. VAT + £24 shipping.

Would you say 219 quids is an OK price compared to price for sport pads from EBC pads or OE genuine MB pads?
Don't know what EBC or genuine MB pads cost in UK?

Called my local pusher of genuine MB parts.
I was told the price for OE MB pads is approx the same as if I would have bought Porterfield pads after currency conversion .
You have to pay if you want to play!!

Did anyone order any brake pads from this shop yet?
Is Garage Whifbitz a good solid shop as I have never heard of them before?

They don't list pads for all MB models, if you want to buy pads and your car ain't listed, you need to contact their customer service for special order.

It's too bad their web shop doesn't offer Paypal payment solution!

Their website is up and active
