Possible SLK Purchase

Or £23500 for a 'poverty spec' that's not much slower than my Mrs' 3.2l but looks the absolute business.

Approved used, 6500 miles, under a year old.

Cheapest R172 on MB's website is listed at £26,890, with 1500 miles, and the only option it's got seems to be DAB radio.

The HPI has checked out. Thinking of offering £18,500 if it's OK. :)
If it's as good as it looks then anything under £19.5k will be good value. The only thing I spotted that it doesn't seem to have that I like as an option is paddle shift, but you'll have to be lucky to find another car with such a comprehensive spec quickly.

I bought it for £18,500. :bannana: No paddle shift but it has the memory package that wasn't mentioned in the advert.

Pristine showroom condition and it goes like 5h1t off a shovel!! :D

Nne one :)

Still needs more cylinders though :p

Cheers,

Gaz

Richard at Comandonline can fit ya a Paddle shift if you so wish! :D

I've got them on my W204 and they are a PITA as I inadvertently keep knocking them! :o

Excellent! Looking at the price list from that period, paddle shift wasn't available with the wood & leather steering wheel or the light burr walnut trim. Memory pack is/was standard on the 350 & 55.

It did look good in the advert - glad to hear the piccies weren't deceiving - and they do go well, don't they :D

Congrats on the purchase :thumb:

Well? Is it a  or a :(

Inquiring minds want to know...

(Hope you remembered the sunblock and a hat :D )

At under 1 year old there should be little to worry about if buying outside of the network as there will be at least 2 years warranty left to provide peace of mind.

The op is buying privately after all.

Given the weather, Geezer's probably still out in it. I know I would be.. :)

Brilliant car. Came a long way home and had a wet patch when I arrived, Dunno if it was because of the heat or something else.................... :dk:

Just got to work out Comand. What a nightmare, the book is around 270 pages. Haven't got to the media section yet but I presume I can use the SD card slot as a sort of iPod and I think there some built in facility for music.

I know my maps need updating. Presumably I have to do that at the stealers at significant cost. :(
