I've just picked up a couple of little bits from them.

Can anyone who has purchased from them in the past let me know if they have had any problems with payment ? (PM me if you don't want to shout it out)

There web site does not use any kind of security, so I prefer not to send my Credit Card details that way, there alternative is for me to fax them the CC details, as they cannot accept payment over the phone !

I'm sure I being over careful, but then you can never be too carful !!

The no phone, but fax instead bit would have me concerned too. Hope you get some positive responses.

You have no problem with this guy.
His name is Ralf (the guy at the GGTG I went to last year).
He uses different names such as 'powerstyling' , 'tuning styling' and matrixcar.
He has a paypal account, so you would be covered there too.

WLeg,

I've dealt with them before. I've tried to pay with my credit card through the link given but after a two weeks of no delivery I emailed them only to find out that the transaction did not went through.

Reply from them saying that I could fax over the details and in the case of double charging they would refund the money back. To be safe, I've decided to wait for my card statement to come in before proceeding with faxing over my payment details. After confirming that they've not charged me for the first transaction, I've proceeded with the faxing and got the item within four working days. So faxing over you card details is safe as what I've done.

Hope this helps.

I've just purchased a Avantgarde Grill from one of his E-bay auctions.
The E-Bay page stated 10 euros for delivery within Germany, so understandably expecting more for UK delivery.
After winning the auction I received a E-mail/bill from AuctionWeb asking what country i was from - I put UK - I then had 2 options for payment,
1 - Paypal but via the page/link with delivery at 15 Euros or
2 - Payment with my Credit Card with delivery at 10 Euros.
I tried both options twice but got the same error messege - i wanted the cheaper option 2 really.
I sent a messege to PowerStyling explaining the error messeges and asking if he had a PayPal ID/email for me to use direct through the PayPal site or if he could sort the error messege problem out.
He replied with a PayPal ID but also explaining delivery would be 18 Euros via Paypal
I won the auction for the Avantgarde Grill at 38.50 Euros and with his 18 Euro delivery worked out at £39ish , so was still cheap in my eyes.

The Grill arrived within 7 days so quick enough from Germany and i'm happy :)

On the AuctionWeb bill/e-mail there is a option for a secure server/page but its in small writng under the big highlighted obvious link - just have a look.

I'd definatly buy more stuff from him though

This is a comment made on another forum regarding Matrixcar.de.
As for the grille from Matrixcar, I purchased the grille and I thought it was junk. It was broken when I received it and then they sent me a replacement grille that was also broken. Broken or not, I think the flexible gray plastic grille was very poor quality, it didn’t fit very well, and it had no business being installed on my beautiful car.

We shall see when it all arrives, I guess !! - thanks for all replies.

I have to disagree here - mine was well packaged, The standard small box inside a big box packed with rags and other boxes - to stop it snapping/breaking i presume.
It certanly wasn't flexible grey plasic either, The face of the fins are Chrome and the top and bottom of the fins are Glossy black and fitted great.

Here's the best close ups of the grill i can get - its a bit sunny out - lol

With grills OEM is safest. I bought a grill from USA and it was broken, second hand tat! .......who was it who said "buy cheap, buy twice" I then bought an OEM grill which was perfect, new and just fitted straight away.

That said Aletanks looks good!

My grille was also OEM - however I have had other stuff from Ralph in the past, and no problems to report at all - more efficient than some companies operating in this country, to be honest !

Have to agree with Aletank! When my grille arrived it as well packed, with boxes within boxes. The grille is as what he has in the pictures, so no qualms about quality. Savings over OEM prices well justified !! (to be offset with other OEM mods though, alloy pedals, cupholder etc..) :D

Bought from him last week. Paid with Paypal, delivery under 3 days.

The chrome on the heater rings was sub standard and had to be polished but the other bits were good quality.

Presumably I would need to register as a new user on Geman Ebay? I have a UK account already but am guessing this won't work. Is there a way of seeing the pages in English or are you guys bi-lingual?

I would like to say bi-lingual, but am not. (Well in french, but not german).
There is a site that translates for you.

All the grills I have sold on here have been from Ralf and I have not received a single complaint.
All are well packaged and arrive quickly.

You can still use your UK ebay username in ebay.de. For translation, there's online transalators as pointed out by Grav888. I normally use this : Systran . Hope this helps!
