Hi,
Not sure if anyone can offer any advice but I have had a strange problem develop on my 2000 slk 230.
I can open and close the roof no problems
When the roof is up my boot opens and closes ok
When my roof is down the boot opens and closes ok,
Now the problem is if I have had my roof down and put it back up, if I then open the boot it will not 'lock shut' it seem to close all the way but the catch does not click shut. If I walk away and leave it 15 minutes and come back the boot shuts with the gentlist of touches, you don't even have to lift it up and close you can just push it down with one finger.
It's just really frustrating just want to know if there is some kind of sensor or something that needs resetting?
