Just got my AMG Type IV Alloys back after being refurbished. Would like to put something on them to protect them and also make them easier to clean. Any suggestions?

Just got my alloys back after refurb, have bought some poorboys wheelwax, as it going to rain all weekend i'll be in the garage giving my wheels a couple of coats!

If you look on Elite Car care site theres plenty of choice......other outlets / products are available :D

I note the link is to Elite. I bought Bouncer's wheel wax after a recommendation from Michael, at the Elite open day :dk:.

I like the sound of the C5.

Only thing with C5 is you have to make sure the wheels are perfectly clean before applying, i.e. free from all tar spots etc so would need to use a clay bar and deironiser - like Decon, Iron-x, Trix, tardis (Wolf's Chemicals Deironizer V.3 - Decon Gel - 1 Litre - Elite Car Care).

Maintain the C5 protective finish by using a PH neutral wheel cleaner and PH neutral shampoo, will easily last a few years/thousands of miles

I haven't tried the products already mentioned, but I've used Swissvax Autobahn for a couple of years and it gives really good protection.
