Hi there

I want to repaint my wing mirrors on my w210 e320 cdi 2001 and wondered if the wing mirrors come off easy or is it better to paint em with them left on .Got a few battle scars to get rid of. Do the plastic covers just pull off or do you have to remove the whole mirror assembly ?

The mirror covers come off easily.
Fold the mirror and look inside. You should see a shiney metal clip. Push the clip and pull the cover off.

Thanks for that Theres a video on you tube on how to take them off as well i found today . Its for the prefacelift model but i imagine its the same . Will get the pliers and screwdriver out and attack it tommorrow . Cheers.

Much easier to take them off and paint them!
