I would really like to obtain the look of the quad exhaust on my CL55, not bothered about getting any more power etc. just like the look. Is there a easy way to obtain this look without a new exhaust?

Thanks Danny

Something like these ?

I really have no idea but had a feeling I knew what you are looking for.

Maybe others can help ??

I got the pic with the help of my friend, Google.

Those exhaust tips look ok from the back in the above photos but on the side view they just dont look right.

When I first read the thread title , I thought for a fleeting moment that Quad were diversifying out of the hi-fi industry .

No doubt , they'd make the best sounding exhausts ever if they did :D

They probably would! But I thought All Terrain Vehicle!
I won't say quad-bike because it's an oxymoron, but not as bad as 'six wheel quad-bike'.......which is really confusing:crazy:

I'm a Linn man myself. Though I hear good things about Quad:D

dont do it! those in the know will know its a fake system, and will just laugh at you,, your car looks great as is.. so keep it looking original and classy.. if you want to do it properly, speak to a tuning company for a new rear section.. the tackyness of this item is that it looks out of place and wrong.

DONT DO IT CAPTAIN.. in my opinion only though!

After a bit of a think, I have to agree with you :) Looks like I will have to save up and have a custom back box made. Having a look around it will cost about £600.

I ran a hi-fi shop for a number of years and sold all the decent kit :D

I am about to fit quads on a 2009 E280 sport with AMG bodywork at CKS Performance Watford and have asked them for their view on performance.

Before you get the work done do a quick search for them on the forum.

whoop whoop/.

there is a guy in cardiff .. 5 mins from cardiff bay who does proper decent exhausts.. he built my quad exhaust on my black bmw 325ci m3 lookalike..

link to my car image is Pro Speed Exhausts Copyright © 2003-2008

my car is black bmw in corner bottom right image on high hand picture view.

back then, it cost me around £250...

was some time ago, so prices prob have gone up, but as commodity price of stell has come down, maybe he might reflect is pricing based on the steel price. unlikely, but possible, and im sure some one somewhere has decent prices just to build more cashflow for their business.
