question abaout bose/optical cables

i "have" a w211 (o5-06) e200 imported from germany, but for some reason there is no marks on the speakercovers and no emblems annywhere, so my question is what do i then have?. coud somone confirm or "disconfirm" (sp?) if i have optics would it show on the tweeters? or is it the bigger speakers that have optiics or not?

If you mean MOST fiber, then "optics" has nothing to do with the speakers. All W211 have MOST fibre connecting different telematics units (unless the car only has a basic headunit and no other components that need MOST connectivity).

Bose/HK or Sound System audio comes with a better amplifier and better speakers, check your data card if it has the 810 option code.

i got no idea what im talking abaout : P and what do you mean by the data card?

He means that you have the possibility to install option 810 (Sound System) but from what you are saying you must have the normal setup! So no, you dont have the premium sound system!

With your VIN you can check your data card and see all the options with which your car was manufactured just to be sure!
