i polished my car with Autoglym SRP then finished with Autoglym extra gloss protection. when i repolish, do i use srp then gloss protection again or a different regime altogether

no need to use srp next time just egp and if you want you can put a coat of wax over the egp

As above, you can top up the EGP with another layer. Can also apply a wax over the EGP as you can wax over a sealant as well.

You'd only need to re-polish with the SRP if you plan on reapplying the protection. :)

I find after an SRP and EG wax all you need to do is wash it with the shampoo and dry.
You can try the Aqua Wax too.

Funnily enough I never seemed to get on with Aquawax although I know people that love it.

I can highly recommend Gyeon Wetcoat as an easy way to top up protection.

Wash the car as normal, rinse odd the soap, spray with Wetcoat and rinse. The water activates it and the beading is awesome. Makes a completely un-waxed car look like it's just been waxed. Crazy stuff!
