R170 Door Lock Sensors

Had new exchange wheels fitted yesterday (right sizes back and rear), the same tyres were returned to the new rims. However since this action my auto door locking is perfect with the roof open, but not closed. :failWith the top down, they auto secure after take-off as usual. However if I drive over a bump the doors unlock, I can fasten them again, via the dash switch, but it only lasts a few minutes. After the ghost unlock, I can hear the solenoid in the door attempting to re-lock , but there appears to be an over-ride preventing this. I believe there's a sensor that may have been disturbed by all four wheels being off the car together during the wheel swap? Chatting with another owner, the view is that the ECU has been tricked into believing the cars been in a crash (wheels off) and is trying to unlock the doors to aid access into/out of the car?

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how do you re-set the sensors. I thought of disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for half an hour and then re-booting? Maybe after a day of inactivity there's an automatic re-set?

Any help, advice much appreciated,

Martin
