I have a R 230 SL350 with a single cupholder on the left side of the central console for the passenger. the right hand side is a dummy blank. Is it possible to fit a RH cupholder ( must be a part from EU for LHD cars?) and if so does anyone know how much and how to fit it?

My local dealer hasnt a clue!:D

Yes there is one for the USA market and they have 2 it is listed as a part.

I am in 2 minds over the things, I hate liquids sitting over those electrics

A good point. Thanks

Do you know if its a DIY job or do you need to take the front half of the car off to get at it?

There is something silly and simple the way it fits,,I have not quite worked it out,,though I do have to get mine off shortly.

I have just turned off the computer with it on, I can find it later and let you have a copy

You have to take off the cover to the center console by removing the sides, and nuts on the inside,, take off gear shift, take off covering and you will see the screws the hold the cup holder in. :):)
