hey all,

so about to move back to the uk, decided on getting an ml 270 (2002). been going through the usual sites listed on here and the figures coming back are astounding.

on average i'm looking at 1400 quid for a 5k car with 5000 miles a year (35 years old, 6 ncb, living in essex).

how the hell they come up with that amount is beyond me, or has the uk insurance market finally gone mad?

what's more worrying is that the mini now looks like a more suitable option.

That seems a lot. Try mercedes own scheme, aviva, directline, chris knot or adrian flux. For us these are usually better than the comparison sites. It really is a lottery and prices change very quickly.

Everything in the UK is expensive now, especially where motoring is concerned.....
