rear fog light, 2010 e350

hi all, can anyone tell me if the rear light cluster is a sealed unit ? merc technician said i have fog light issue...needs investigation. even mentioned the telltale on dash. Only 1 light (offside) works, is this normal? many thanks

yes it does, as does the dash fog lamp....so not sure what the 'merc dealership are talking about) !

Nor me. It’s not unique to your model. Mercedes has done it like this for decades.

can anyone tell me if replacement front brake pipes is a big job on a e350 2010 coupe.... and if poss rough quotes...many thanks.

And this is why forums like that are needed. Couple years ago, I've seen similar post on e350 Facebook group.

Lady, had similar problem. Local cowboy told her that there was an issue with fog light. She rang dealers and ordered new one. Fitted, ignition ON, lights ON, fog lights ON....and still same issue.

Only to realise (thanks to other forum users), that there is only one fog light. I think she was £600 poorer, dealer didn't accept it back...
