Rear star badge

Hi peeps,

I was behind a 51 plate E320(I think) today and I noticed it had a rear badge that was just the star without the circle surrounding it.

I tried a quick search here as well as mercedes UK and autotrader but couldn't find anything (the tools are only as good as the tradesman ). Can anyone shed any light, or more importantly part numbers on this please?

BTW the car didn't look as though it had been in any way modded.

I cant think why someone would want to do this intentionally but, I see a few like that on my travels around Bradford. Usually, when you are very close, you can detect that it is as a result of amateur badge theft .

erm, loads of vans around here are like that, they are just badges that have been vandlised
