I have a 2006 C200 w203, 80k miles. It has inside edge trye wear on the back wheels. I suspect this is something to do with worn bushes.
Any clever guys out there know about this? How to replace the relevant bushes.
Thanks in advance

Today I happened to notice the back tyres on my 2022 GLE through the cords on the inside edges. The car has only done 20k miles

It was the same on my SL in October, apparently it needs a trip to a competent wheel alignment specialist with laser tracking gear. I would get it tested before thinking about changing bushes
Inner edge wear is apparently very common on Mercedes

Do you drive over many speed cushions? That’s another cause of tyre damage/wear on the inside edge, and can affect alignment too.

Exactly what I was thinking when reading posts and it could be damage when catching the edge of a kerb as turning into off a drive, pavement or those metal shields on some roads that is a temporary cover a works hole in a road.

During the last few weeks, I've noted quite a few manhole type cover in the middle of the road that have sunk by a fair bit and the edges appear relatively sharp

Having said the above - take it to tyre people as other posted and also ask them for their opinion as they/some often know as they are dealing with tryres daily.

No not hardly any speed bumps in our area of France and now in my 60's don't tend to drive like a loon anymore, Have ordered new tyres, will get the car laser aligned and report back. I took the wheels off and there is no sign of any damage under the car or anything that could have been dragged up

I have had the suspension of my c200 checked and the bushes are fine. I had a four wheel alignment done by Protyre here in Ashford. I aked if they had sorted the camber of the rear wheels and they said that there was no adjustment for this. Is this true? The alignment seems to have made the car ride better but the rear tyre problem remains. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
