Rear window defroater

I noticed this morning that neither of my rear side windows defrost. I take it they should do when the rear window defroster is switched on, due to the little wires in the window?

Are they on a different fuse to the rear window (unlikely I would have thought) or is them both failing a common occurance?

I think that too.....but having the saloon version and not the estate I thought Id leave it to those that do!!!
