Rebadging the 129 post respray

The 129 will be going into the bodyshop for its respray next month, once the last of the AMG bits arrive from Germany. This thrown us headlong into the highly contentious issue of badging

The ducktail that Neil has kindly furnished me with is one of the non-embossed ones, so it needs something on the back to add some detail. The star on the centreline can't go back on as the ducktail is curved.

The easy choice would be an AMG badge but I don't want to fall into the "eBay syndrome" given the lack of powerplant and being a re-creation.

I have a correct chrome AMG badge for a ducktail if it is any good to you. It's in great condition except wher the matt black paint around the edge has started to come off. It came off my 320e that had a ducktail.

The rest of the paint will come off easily so you could use it as is or re-apply the matt black. it will need new double side tape aswell but thats the easy bit

I will try and remember to post a picture up later.
