Recommended 7G gearbox repairers??

I need a valve body/speed sensor repair on a w221

Is there any indipendant Transmission specialist around who can do this,, or is it a Main dealer job???

Firstly we would need to know your location so that independents could give you an answer..
I am quite certain it is a job they can do as it is accessed from beneath the gearbox (same as filter replacement)..

Obviously a Main agent could do it but then you would be paying for all that chrome and glass !

The indy that you take it to need to have online coding facility as the electrical plate is part of the control unit

So once it has been fitted it needs to be coded to the vehicle.

Up to now i cant find an indy who can do it, thats my problem
