I have finally decided to sell my E55 car, so unfortunately to get some value from it I am going to have take a few things off it, inc the no. plate at this early stage, AE55 AMG, currently on my 06 W211 E55 saloon, and see where it leads me, with my other parts, that I will be selling as things move on, if I cannot get the monies required, no point in me selling it, so will be doing a bit at a time, as I am in no hurry here.
Am wanting £1,500 plus the DVLA cost to move the plate over. If the plate sells, I will then move to sell some other items inc as a taster;
*Full Brabus 12/6 pot brake kit, with virtually new Alcon disc's and new carbotec pads,, babus calipers currently being stripped and rebuilt and re painted by brake specialist, dependant on car type, further brackets/bells may be required for this kit to fit, I have brackets/bells for 3 no MB cars.
*1 set of lightweight (10KG) BBS RS GT wheels with raw ceramic polished rims, silver paint centre section, with under half worn good Michelin PSS, wheels are newly refurbed, not been on the road since. all ET 32
*1 set of lightweight (10KG) BBS RS GT wheels machined, lacquered rimmed wheels with black two tone centres, awaiting arrival of these, 3 are brand new barrels, 1 no. barrel is refurbed to match. no tyres. fronts ET32, rears ET38.
3 no. spare refurbed BBS RS GT barrels, 2 x 9.5J 1 x 8.5J corrosion only repair.
*2 no. Michelin Cup 2 tyres, 285 35 19 , brand new
*1 set of AMG 19" twin five spoke VI wheels totally refurbed in silver, not been on the road since, no tyres.
*CF Carbonio airbox and inlet tubes, in great condition but used, and a brand new unfitted engine cover, still in box.
*Mercedes 80mm TB and plenum, used.
* Flat bottomed leather/ alcantara covered DTM style steering wheel, with alloy paddle shifters.
*TTM air scopes in matching colour of Brabus brake kit.
*Used 84mm SC pulley and beltwrap kit.
*used Killer Chiller.
I will then plan to sell on my 06 plated 57K miles saloon, with the following mods, ungraded cam shafts, upgraded EMP 100 cell exhaust, with standard rear boxes, Kleemann headers, Kleemann crank pulley, Split cooling with boot mounted ice tank and dual pump system, Ec TCU map, 19" AMG VI alloys, Quaife diff, CF front spoiler, CF rear valance spoiler, and a few other minor mods.
As said no hurry here, if the no. plate sells I will start to strip the car of the said parts and bring these parts to the table, albeit there's a couple of parts I list here I will require premium monies for. If it does not and the Brabus kit is back with me, Uhm, I may well re fit it and hang on for a while.
All in all its been a heavy hearted pondering , sad day really, making this decision, but life goes on as we all know
. And as my wife also kindly pointed out, it's only a car!
