If you have an significant accident then checking the ECU for changes etc is quite common, if found and not declared then the insurance for you will be invalid although your third party cover may still exist, if it does not then you could be personally liable for all claims.

</blockquote>I believe the 3rd party cover is always honoured by the insurer (required by law) but they would likely try and get the money back from the policy holder..<br />
Also don't believe what some remap companies try and tell you, that their remap will be invisible, the remap will <i>always </i>be discoverable.</div>
