Removing head unit a207

I’ve got a strange problem. I’m trying to remove the head unit from my a207. It should be a very simple procedure, remove vents above it, loosen two torx screws a pull it out. Only problem is it wont pull out. It’s loose but it‘s definitely not coming out. Any ideas?
