As per thread title, before I commit to ordering one from the States I was just wondering if anyone has a RENNtech bubble top carbon fibre airbox suitable for an M113 anywhere? Part# 09.113.00BT

Pic for reference...

Thanks.

Do Renntech still manufacture these airboxes?
They were not cheap back then, wonder how much an airbox cost today?

Yeah they're still available, I spoke with John their product specialist recently; $1780 with shipping, around £1600 at the current rate 🙈.

Dude their price is mental!
Would have to sell my kidney buying an airbox.
It is quite expensive I agree, but they look so good, and do actually add 5-10hp which is pretty solid for an N/A motor. The induction sound gets amplified too 🥰.

I made a ruff curency conversion without adding Swedish import duties.
$1780 comes to more than twenty thousand krona for this part!
Yikes that's steep!  👎

Doubt they sell many/any offer £1k.

I would be OK with a $500 to $600 buck pricetag.
Renntech made box look fancy with the carbon fibre that's why it's so expensive.

Yeah it's expensive stuff, I don't think RENNtech sell anything you could consider a bargain 😂

When I spoke with their product guy he said they run the bubble top airboxes for our model in batches, and they sell out virtually straight away every time. I don't think making an offer would get me very far 😂

Only way to buy this airbox is a group buy coming down in price.

Renntech never took their business to Europe?
Would have probably been cheaper buying a box from a European shop if there was any?

Do they still have the box on their website?

They do have European dealers, but the price is the same wherever from what I've looked at. The official UK dealer is Collins Performance, but when I contacted them the said they had no stock and wouldn't be ordering any again.

Yeah the airbox is still on their website, you have to look under a 210 E55 or 208 CLK though, as they no longer officially support the 202.

Checked their website.
Do you have to send them your old box?
That won't be cheap seen to total price.

"Note: This upgrade requires a core exchange for the OEM airbox."

No mate, it just means you have to swap your existing lower portion/core over. The RENNtech box is just the lid!

I thought they sold a complete airbox (top and bottom part) not just the carbon cover with the Renntech logo?
Only improvement is that the top cover is raised increasing air volume?
A very expensive performance part!

The Renntech cover is it more expensive than Quaife diff?
Forgot how much these cost?

No the top cover is all you get! To be fair though, all the bottom portion does is act as a lid for the air filters really. It's the upper portion that flows in to the throttle body via the intakes. It is the increased volume of air and better flow that ups power.

Not cheap, but they look really good when you lift the bonnet! 🥰

Diffs are about £1100ish I think?

I have one new boxed, should fit it.
