Replace driver and front passenger airbags

Ok, Missy is at the dealers and I'm enjoying the shopping centre near by. I can see its gonna be an expensive day, just bought some bits in JayDee , had a coffee and doughnut and now gonna head off for round two

Have to say I’ve had a letter and it’s sat on the side now for a couple of months. I’m just reluctant to book it in over the software emissions update. I guess I can’t leave it forever so I’ll make an effort to get it booked in.

Same here, had mine a couple of weeks ago, was concerned that the software update would cause increased fuel consumption and stop it going into 7th before 72 mph, anyone had issues with this ?

I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before there's a recall for the others, assuming Takata were the supplier of those in addition to the driver and passenger bags.

Mine is going in in a couple of weeks and I've left instructions with my daughter - she has custody of the car while I'm away - to instruct the dealer not to do the emissions update when they fix the airbag, not very confident they will listen to her though!
