Went to the stealers today to order a new Key. £55 So not a bad deal. And I got 2 dash illumination bulbs free :D Thanks MB Derby!

Anyway asked about the alarm fob and they dont do but put me in touch with Mobile Soloutions as it is a Scorpion Alarm.

Scorpion have since stopped making the said fob  And they said youll have to make do with the one. Not much of a solution there.

So I refuse to accept i can not get a fob even aftermarket. Anyone had experience of this or can you advise on alarm specialist etc.

Both of mine died last year, and I had to get them from the Stealers, £60 each so you got a bargin m8

Was that a flip key or standard one?

I've used Tech-Tronics Ltd., based in Trafford Park, Manchester. They were very good when I had to replace a Cobra alarm keyfob on my previous car, 1986 190E.

Tel: 0161 872 6275
Fax: 0161 877 0081

Mind you, it was way back in 1999 when I last used them.

Had mine sorted by taking the scorpion unit out from behind the glove box.
it was then sent together with the fob to Scorpion who returned it after a few days with a new fob, All ok after that. You will have to short out two wires after removing unit though, to enable the disabler. Can't remember which two though but it's fairly easy to work out.Don't know Scorpion's address either as it was sent off by the chap who sorted the problem for me. Sorry about the patchy info, hope it's of help.

Thought it was too good a price. MB just called to say wrong key had been ordered and another £28 is payable on collection. :)
