My 3 button fob is falling to bits, i dont have a spare either. Is it possible to purchase these from ebay and get them re-programmed by a dealer as the sellers are suggesting?

If you do a search you'll find that this is a a common question. I'm pretty sure the answer is a resounding no I'm afraid

If it is the DAS type buy one on Ebay and change over the PCB

That is a DAS key you can buy one on Ebay and change over the case, when the battery is out, the PCB inside slides out
