Hello This washer problem has been a nightmare ! First of all a small garage changed the washer pump ! It squirted well for a couple of days. Then in September during a service. the garage supposed to of taken the washer bottle out and clean it out. The car was MOT'd after a good squirt, it went back to nothing. So I've purchased a new jet pipe. looking at the end there is a unit which the heating connector goes in. How does the water connector fit? because there is not a connector fitted on my car. I'm wondering whether the first little garage has cut it away ? They was very thin wire in the pipe on the original. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction.?

On my E350, 2012 vintage, everything is a push fit. I have a heater in the washer bottle, and heated nozzle jets.

One of my nozzle jets broke, which meant because of the heated nozzle jets I had to buy a new screenwashes hose. The hose pushes on to the end of the washer pump behind the passenger side wheel arch liner (LHS) and is then routed up through the engine bay wing, and all the existing nozzles and washer hose has to be replaced in one go. To do this, you need to remove the wipers and the scuttle panel below the windscreen.

With the heated system, you can't replace only one nozzle.

The whole washer nozzle system and hose, including electrical connector, was purchased for something like £50 from Merc. Secondhand wrecks from breakers yards were about £45.
