My 12-year old E200 was working perfectly, suddenly problems started to show!!
I have now noticed that the screen-washer bottle has broken away from the car and is resting on the body. A new bottle is required.
Is it easy to replace? Do I need to be aware of anything?
It seems like the lower water-pipe is connected by a clip, and the other connector is pushed in. I assume there will be no need to bleed the air out.

It should be a simple job if you have an identical replacement bottle, just a matter of swapping over the pump and the float device that alerts you to the need to top up.
Check that the rubber seal at the pump is in good condition.
Bleeding wouldn’t be an issue.

Any chance that your existing bottle has just become dislodged and just needs re seating.

just take a look at the float level indicator when you take yours out.
When I changed mine the drawing on the Russian parts site shows it upside down
