Retrim being considered

I've just had a very informative discussion with Rob Stevens - MD of DK Schweizer (UK) Ltd (car leather retrimming specialist). The door cards on the S Class are bonded onto the doors in several layers so not suitable for retrimming. Similar story for the headlining. The seats can be done but I'll be keeping its "as is" and really happy with it.

Just keep the sunroof shade open and you’ll let all the lovely light in…

Exactly what I was going to say. On any of my cars the sunshades are only used as a very last resort when the sun's too hot.

Open them up and you've got tons of light.

Cheers! I have had them open ever since and decided to keep the car original. Very pleased I did.
