Hi guys,

Been away from Merc for a good 5 or so years since owning a C63 6.3

Since then I tried a boring family estate, I then went a bit crazy and had a Lambo Gallardo and currently a Bentley Continental Speed.

I'm jumping from the Speed to a 21 plate C43 coupe whilst the Mrs jumps into a GLC43 as the family car.

I'm quite excited, I know it hasn't the prestige or performance of a Bentley but it's saving me 2 family holidays a year and clears alot of uncertainty for me being a gym owner.

Anything I should look out for either potential problems or enjoyment wise?

Also, looking to take out a service plan with Mercedes for the 2 years I probably own it before getting bored (habit of a lifetime). The website for pricing is down at present - does anyone have this and know what they pay?

Heres a link to the car if anyone is interested; https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202104010...

I'm more than happy saving approx £500 pcm on payments, cheaper insurance etc and new with warranty - hardly a slouch either albeit the c43.

Is there anything important from the spec I am missing?

Thanks

Welcome :)

I have a 3 year service plan for my 2019 C43 and it costs somewhere around £30 a month.

The C43, whilst lacking in the V8 department, is certainly no slouch and in all but dry conditions would give the C63 something to think about. I totally love mine :)

The things I think you're missing on the car you've chosen are the driver assistance package, but it's mostly gimmicky, the Premium Plus package which would have got you the pano roof and uprated sound system, the pano roof was a must for me, and the memory package for the seats which, again, you probably won't miss.

Thank you. Good point regarding the pan roof, I would have liked it but I'm used to not having it with my Bentley so should be ok.
Thats a nice service price compared to what I've been paying this past few years mate!

Take the regular c43 sedan, the rear doors will come in handy and it offers the same engine. Tick the 4matic as well.
