Hi Guys
Friend of mine has a C class coupe w205 chassis. Recently the reverse camera mounted under the rear boot badge has completed stopped working, as in the boot badge no longer lifts to expose the camera when put into reverse, and no image appears on the screen. The display remains on the image when driving normally.
However strangely.. the rear parking sensors spark into life when reversing, so it seems the car knows its going backwards.
Are there any known common issues I can check before getting a STAR diagnosis?
I haven't really tried anything as yet, not sure if there is a reset procedure or even a fuse that might have blown?
Any clues appreciated.
