oh yeah, sorry to be a nuisance but does anyone know where i can find a facelift front bumper for the w202 ? that is one with three seperate vents rather than just one large vent.

on another note

how much would it cost to get a new sunroof fitted, automatic? i havent got one at all.

sunroof - if you havent got one, forget it! no-one will do it for you! youd be better off selling your car and buying one with a sunroof!

In theory you can simply attach the bottom lips to the bumper and swap them from the black 'bar'.

In order to do this, it would take you ages (hours) taking the lips off, swapping the centre vent etc and isnt worth it at all.

Besides, most pre-facelift bumpers are 2 tone and wouldnt look right if your planning on facelifting it (like I have)

One thing ive noticed when I facelifted my car that hasnt been mentioned before is the difference in weight, the pre-facelift is over double the weight of the facelift on both bumpers.

Better fuel economy on later models helped by this?

well in that case i myte get both bumpers changed. how much would i be looking at for brand fornt and rear new bumpers?

Contact Dronsfield Mercedes, they had one on eBay last week, they may sell you the bumpers, you looking at £100ish per bumper + spraying remember!
