... or should be fixings for roofbars.
Anyway, I have all the Thule kit from the old E Saloon and looked around at the weekend for new fixings for the estate.
I may be a little unfair (or even tight-fisted...) as I bought my roofbox, bars, etc, as one package (which was £260 for a Kamei box and Thule bars) - but £70 for the feet only seems very expensive to me (just checked roofbox.co.uk - £53). Popped into the local Halfords and they do their own bars and feet for the same price as the feet only from Thule. Can't see any difference in the bars (seems to be the same gauge metal, etc), but they don't do the feet on their own - and I don't like spending out unnecessarily.
I don't use the box a lot (maybe twice a year), but one of the reasons for the estate was that I will occasionally (maybe once a quarter) carry some lighting stands to gigs which can go on the roof in their bags (boot will have guitars / rack in and will not be shared with lumps of metal).
So do I (a) frown, buy the Thule feet and flog off the saloon fittings; (b) buy the complete kit from Halfords and flog off the complete kit for the saloon; or (c) find some feet from somewhere else (such as Atera)?
And if it's option (c), where else should I be looking?
Thanks
