Does any one know the part number for a RPM sensor in a 722.6 autobox??

Andrew

Has anyone any idea even what the RPM sensor is called as I can not find it on the EPC??

Thanks

I thought it was on the electronic plate inside the box.

That’s the one I need a part number for?

Someone filled around the socket with silicone rather than replace the £5.00 socket and seals!!!!!

Merc-Tech Belfast tried to replace the socket which I had bought but on trying to remove the old socket the silicone has ripped the RPM sensor out!!!!!!!!

I bet you can't get it on it's own. You will need the electronic plate.

Would you know what the electronic plate part number is?

I was quoted about £300.00 for a replacement so could that be the whole plate?

Blimey. Thats about as bad as the idiot who thought it would be a good idea to weld no.2 glow plug onto my cylinder head. The glow plug which doesn't work any more.

I take it the previous owner stripped the treads and thought it too much hassle to get it helicoiled!! You have my sympathy as I am rightly pissed off at the moment. All this over a £5.00 part which could easily be changed by most DIYers.

Do people have no respect for any car!!!!
