Hey folks - I have a 63 plate w204 sports plus.

After a long drive today I’ve got a Run Flat Indicator warning, an ABS light and the car with the squiggly tyre lines. Any idea what the issues are and how to fix them?

Also what’s the cost for fixing these if I have to take it in?

Cheers all 👍

Could be a battery voltage issue, but my money is on the infamous 204 faulty ABS sensor. I'd bet your cruise control and stop/start isn't working either.
If it's a wheel sensor genuine MB parts are not expensive; my indy charged £160 all in including the diagnostic check, genuine MB part, fitting and VAT

No they’re not. Ah ha! So it’s a known issue. So what’s the procedure in getting this sorted and is it an easy issue to fix?

Yep, known issue.
It's a wheel off, unplug and unbolt the old one, fit the new one, wheel back on, clear fault and road test.

Smashing - that doesn’t sound too expensive.

Please tell me it’s not too expensive.

So Friday evening and all Saturday the ABS and run flat indicator messages were coming on after 30 seconds of driving - today I’ve done about 10 miles with no error messages whatsoever. Electronic brake, stop/start and cruise control all working fine.

I have it booked in to a local garage tomorrow so hopefully will know more then.
